When I filed a claim some years ago, your agent got in touch with me quickly, stayed in touch and was good at explaining things.

Trying to get a new quote from your agent handling landlord insurances was difficult. He was not responsive (late on his repose) and was not knowledgeable (and didn’t bother checking more than one provider). I questioned why the quote was so high, and he didn’t care to look into it or double check - instead he got defensive. Ended up going to a different agency and got better coverage for 60% of the Trident-quoted premium.

As long as I have been with Trident, I have felt that I was being treated with respect and understanding. I also felt that my information was secure. They are very professional and know how to guide you.

I asked for a rate comparison in July for a September renewal. I only heard this week and when I emailed to say I had questions, I received an "away from office" return email. In the meantime, my mortgage company paid the old bill so I believe I missed the opportunity to shop. I will be moving to a smaller more responsive agency as soon as I can.

Trident continually let my premiums increase to the point where I shopped around myself and found better coverage and saved almost $2000 per year. If I am paying an agent I expect service such as a yearly review at renewal time to get me better rates. I have moved on.

When my home got a stucco remediation a few years ago, trident updated my policy but I see the home is only listed as vinyl on my policy, not vinyl and stone. The stone addition was expensive and I want to ensure if it's damaged, it will be replaced with same quality product and workmanship. I will have not received an update to my policy on this topic

I don’t know what Trident does besides getting a fat commission for our insurance policy. We received our new premium directly from our insurance company without any contact from Trident. We had to reach out ourselves to Trident in order to get an explanation on the increased cost. Why do we even need an agent?

The coverage is great, the people there are amazing and they are not a hard sell. However, I do wish there was a more informative and personalized website. If policies were available online and searchable, it would be an asset. Although I haven't yet made a claim, I am sure the people will make it manageable for me.
