Workout area cleaning needs to be improved. Treadmills and elliptical machines are dusty. Air exchange vents are coated in severely inches of dust!

Have evening aqua fit classes and more adult swim time

I go to the aqua fit classes and find them very well run lockers are always available and the change rooms and shower area always clean

Friday Aquafit classes with Amelia are excellent. Pool deck could be cleaner. Too many street shoes are allowed on decking. Sewer smells around drains in change rooms should be addressed.

All the staff are professional and very friendly.

YMCA is clean, the stuffs are friendly, is spacious, most of all I like the game to pikleball

Nice clean new facility and the staff are great at the front and in the playroom also very nice that the library and community centre are on site

A few issues with members behaving in a way that is inappropriate which I told the staff about and nothing was done. Disappointed. Seems like no one is really willing to enforce the rules.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Facility is quite clean considering how many people use it. Pool is also quite well maintained.

I live across the road. It is so convenient. The programs are lead ny very good people that motivate me. I would say that perhaps more care coul dbe made in the maintenance of bathrooms that need a new faucet or repait on a door etc.

I love the aquafit classes but people stay from one class to the next and it is often very crowded.
Perhaps another class could be added each day or even a couple of days a week.
The instructors are excellent!

I like that I can do a card ( pay up for a pay as you go) for lane swims. Great facility!

Not having skating available year round is unfortunate. I know ice costs can be more expensive but London needs skating

As a senior on a fixed income the cost is excessive compared to other places in London.

Yoga classes are my focus so I appreciate the different class types and times that the Startech location offers me.

Love the centre. Everytime I visit London I go to the y. Great equipment and friendly staff. The only reason why I don't give it 10 is the attention to cleanliness details. The mirror behind the free weights seems foggy - this happens to mirrors over time when not wiped regularly. It was like this last October when I was there as well. The walls where spray bottle are located are dirty. The spray bottles are often empty, but usually at least one has sanitizer in it. And the bathroom in the weight area needs to be freshened up with a coat of paint. These are mirror things. All and all, it is an excellent space! Thank you.

Always have people on the front desk to assist with issues and facilities are top notch.

At times equipment is broken or towel dispensers and spray bottles are empty and remain so for a long time. Mentioning these things to volunteers seems to only bring blank looks and no action, like it’s not their problem and they don’t even bother to mention it to staff. Recently, the seat lock was broken on one machine. I mentioned it to a volunteer.One week later it was still broken. I reported it to staff at the main desk, and finally two weeks later it was fixed.

I think that the Y has excellent facilities and the staff, for the most part, are very friendly. I only wish it would have a sauna like some of the other branches. Are there any plans for adding a sauna?

It's a very nice bright area with a ramp to get into the pool.

Most of my Y visits are to swim laps. The "windowed" pool adds to the pleasant experience. The pool is always clean, well supervised and at a good temperature. The change rooms are always clean , pleasant .......perfect.
(The only downside is the music in the pool area is at times too loud/dominating - even I expect for most teenagers. Categories of music are fine! Most often the music and sound level is just right. Who chooses the sound level? The acting lifequard? or the head lifequard?)

Positive atmosphere. Clean. Instructors for Aqua classes are very good.

Good aquafit classes ruined by dreadful facilities. Too few showers. Small cramped showers with people yelling at you to get out because if you don’t they will miss their bus. No showers for mixed change room. Facilities not user friendly. Friends won’t accompany you as drop in rate is too high for aquafit.

Sign up was made easy, volunteers and staff friendly. Helpful orientation. Plenty of classes and equipment for individual workouts. Various price points are helpful and make fitness and wellness accessible. Just joined and I am looking forward to exploring all the YMCA has to offer.

I submitted my complaint and never received a call back. I have a 10 week aqua fit card but can be treated with great disregard if you happen to be in someone’s regular spot although there was no one there. If you stand your
Ground that no one owns the spot that you are aware of than you are shunned and whispered about which is not the atmosphere of other YMCA’s Ive done acqua fit in before. This action should be addressed in an email sent to everyone…..May I add in my opinion only

The swimming pool is state-of-the-art, with ample natural lighting (courtesy of massive glass windows), an access ramp with rails, and a team of lifeguards that are both affable and professional. And what a deal! 10 swims for just over $40. That works out to less money per swim than a Flat White costs at Starbucks!

The gym is under equipped with machines - it has no incline press, no tricep or bicep machines, and a single cable row which is always busy.

Great friendly staff, trainers and instructors. Fitness equipment and fitness floor is always clean.

I would recommend it more if there was more gym equipment for working out

Facilities are clean and well taken care of and the staff is friendly

The pool area is not always clean. Not unusual to see bandaids or food wrappers beside the pool.
Floor in the women’s change room is often dirty.
I use the aquafit most mornings. It is very disappointing that there is so much change in the instructors as well as the lack of communication, even when an instructor does not show up there is often no communication to tell participants what is happening.
Although I do enjoy the classes I am embarrassed to make positive recommendations for others to join.

My family is very keen on using the pool.

I find the staff at desk more than willing to try to accomodate. I have had various issues & each time served by different person but always respectable & i leave reassured & question answered.

Just No hip adduction or abduction machine

The staff in child minding is incredible. I also love the spin classes throughout the week. The playroom needs some major tlc however. Toys need to be replaced.

Helpful staff, clean, modern, well designed, great classes with martial arts and instructor Benitez is great.
