The facility is clean, well maintained and has a good variety of machines for any workout. As a new employee, the staff have been very friendly and welcoming, willing to help in any way.

Great facility and Matt is fantastic

I wanted to share some feedback that I hope is helpful. In several classes, particularly strength and stretch, it feels like instructors are more focused on completing the workout themselves rather than actively teaching. There have been moments where participants have asked for help and didn’t receive guidance.

In classes with a range of ages and abilities, especially where some attendees are older, it would be really beneficial to see more attention given to form, modifications, and checking in with participants. While modifications are sometimes mentioned, there isn’t hands-on guidance or follow-up to ensure movements are being done safely.

I’ve personally felt unsure about continuing classes out of concern for potential injury, which is why I wanted to share this feedback. I think a stronger emphasis on instruction and support would make a big difference in both safety and overall experience.

Fitness instructors should show how to do the movements and then they should walk around and make sure people are doing the movements correctly instead of just staying in their own area doing the full workout without even looking around the class.

There are a wide range of programs that support fitness to problem solving. The staff are friendly and the children all seem to have fun.

You didn't disappoint.. I've just joined.. I just don't have much of an opinion.. so far so good… I will know better in abit.

The pricing feels quite high, and it would be great to see more beginner-friendly equipment available. For example, some exercises like hip thrusts are difficult for beginners when using a barbell, especially since there aren't lightweight plates that are the same height as the 45 lb plates. Having lighter plates with the same height (like 10 lb versions) would make these movements much more accessible to be able to set up form properly.

Geared to my age and abilities

Membership is too expensive for what you have. A lot more value with my planet fitness membership. The only advantage to ymca is distance to my house. The hours suck, equipment selection is lackluster, no perks (pool, sauna, massage chairs).

I really like the instructors, very knowledgeable and willing to work with you around your limitations.

Friendly and helpful staff. Love the turf classs. Its hard but good and Matt is great at pushing you to do your best.

Great trainers. Matt is the best trainer because he encourages you to keep going even when you think your body can't do any more weights.

I dont use the programs or any extras. Just the gym and love it. Just wish it was open later on the weekends

I use the workout equipment with my teens. Not many programs for teenagers. The programs I've seen are for under age 12. There is not much for teens Other ymcas have youth groups We use petrolia ymca to go swimming

I like the Baby & Me Fitness offering as not all centers have that class.

Awesome instructors

Just started a week ago. So not really sure yet on programs The different equipment is good. Because if you can't do one thing there's something else that will work I am very happy so far.

Lots of variety, and instructors are fantastic! Alana can help me stretch, and restore, Laura can challenge me to up weights and build muscle, and Matt kicks my butt on the turf! Something for everyone!
