Very disappointed with the service and communication. Very frustrating experience, failure to follow the process discussed on the calls, poor coordination, and unfair billing for a service that was ultimately never used.

I was asked for my VISA to set up the transaction for the bin. Our VISA was charged twice for the call. I was told in conversation with a rep that this would be reversed last Wednesday when the accounting department work. As of today the double charge is still on our VISA. Not great.

I’m still waiting to be refunded demurrage fees for a bin that was picked up months ago. I’ve phoned 2 times to have it resolved and still nothing. Very unlikely that I will even use York 1 again

We had it a number of time where the front load bin was not completely emptied even though there as on obstutions . I was assured it would be taken care of the next day and a week later it was not done so I asked for an extra dump which that also agreed to and then said they could not help after all since no trucks would be in the area for a week. When I need an extra dump somehow they do have trucks in the area. In the summer they stop emoting the bin and for no good reason stop scheduling my pick up. That too took a few weeks to resolve. If you want my business I need you to be able to resolve issues when they come up and not only fix things when it is convenient for you. Apparently you are not aware of how important this service is for us to have the business running well.
In the past I have had great service for many years and hope this review helps you to do that for other companies in the years to come.

We have used York 1 for many years spending $10,000+ we renovated 2 home and landscapes . But when it come to residential customer service I have never been spoken to in such a rude manner . It was my fault that my online order changed my profile, it was my credit card but not my name . They used the onsite contact name as the new account name ,.with my credit card . And I am still waiting for a deposit return from the 10th of November. I keep getting told that it takes 10-15 days , it's a credit card it doesn't. I also was told my account was not set up with direct payment but another random amount came out with out my approval. Once I get my refunds I will be cancelling all accounts with York 1 . Plus you billing at the end of weeks doesn't work , it took more then 10 days to receive a bill but I only have 30 more days to pay in full.

We are on an on-call service and it works well for our business and York1 has been great in providing this service promptly.
Our guys are constantely being told that the account is in arrears when they show up to drop off a load. The account is not in arrears and never has been. They have been told there is no account on other visits. The left hand does not seem to know what the right hand is doing. Our office person has spent time being transferred to and from various extensions trying to figure it out.
No there is an administration fee attached to invoices????
