Had 2 plumbers for two different jobs. Both were competent, courteous, answered questions and provided options, and took time to be sure things were working and that everything was cleaned up. I don't know how to compare their prices with others.

Should I be worried that external doors in my home are shifting to a point that I can't lock them without lifting them up?

I would be concerned... sounds like you have some sort of issue if the gap is gettting larger. I definantely would contact a local professional door installer.
