Servpro was suggested to us by our Homeowners insurance after having a hot water heater issue in our home. Misinformation and poor communication immediately at the start of the claim. Initial inspector was fired but no one contacted us to let us know what was going on. Finally, we contacted that inspector to be told he had been let go and we should call another number to get the name of our new project manager. This process was supposed to be a 6-8 week ordeal but turned into a 6 month plus issue. Honestly felt like we were the general contractor and had to request information the whole time. This was all just for the water mitigation and packing out our house was which was done very unprofessionally. Contents just dumped into boxes and taped closed. Onto the actual repair of the home Servpro also has a restoration department that will do the repairs. This seems like let’s use a friend of a friend type thing as we consistently had to bring issues to their attention for the poor workmanship. We could probably write a book on the issues we have had with Servpro and currently are still trying to settle the claim for our belongings that were damaged during pack out and storing. They do not use climate controlled facilities as they verbally tell you and do not take care with your hard earned belongings. Then they want to prorate your things that were in perfect working order prior to them moving them. Two televisions, multiple family picture frames and that is not to mention the scratched furniture that we did not report because they want to prorate everything. We cannot say how very UNPROFESSIONAL most of the workers we had contact with were.

They were just wonderful, and I really appreciate them.

Overall, the owner, Bill Callahan, came out here twice. One of the times was by request. I do not think he was experienced. He did not know what I was talking about with the electrical. He did not seem to understand the information that was given to him.

They were hired through insurance but couldn’t show up on time, made many mistakes, still dealing with their mistakes.

SERVPRO was a God send in getting my home back to better than normal after my kitchen fire. Their folks are extremely hard workers and just as nice as you could ever hope to meet.

They did an excellent job. They just needed to finish the job a bit quicker.
