I use my membership for aquasize classes. The only useful one which I am grateful for is the Saturday am one. I live just a short distance from our Gretna Y but drive 15 miles into Papillion Landing as they offer multiple daily am class offerings where the instructors do really make us move. The Landing also incorporates an indoor "lazy river" for further exercise. I am currently using the "Y" for individual exercise. I do plan to sign up for adult swim lessons as I do not know how to swim as well as I am comfortable with. So kudos to the "Y" for offering that instruction as this is the only one that does. Your employees are very friendly and helpful. Please consider offering more aquasize classes.

I love the indoor pool. Your equipment is also excellent. Your staff so very helpful. Even the other athletes that work out are extraordinarily nice.
I sometimes go to the Armburst YMCA because it’s closer and the price of gas is so high at this time. But I’d always choose the Gretna Y if I had a choice.

I was given a tour of the facility, very nice. Excellent walking track. More options then the Y close to me.

Areas to improve are staying open until 10:00PM on the week days. That is the biggest improvement that can be made. Recently the water stations have been out of order for extended periods of time. The repairs need to be take care of quicker.

We like the facility, but we believe it was not right of you to repeatedly increase the price of membership as you did in such a short amount of time. It feels like an intentional bait and switch.

I find myself waiting for a machine more and more while someone is sitting on it texting/reading/surfing/etc. We could use a few signs around the gym. Here are a few suggestions:

Please: Do gym things in the gym ... screen time in the lobby; or
Please use the gym for exercise, the lobby for screen time; or
There is seating in the lobby for screen time and seating in the gym for exercise

I think most members would applaud this subtle reminder of courtesy.

Make sure the cable on all exercise equipment is working and calibrated. It feels like less than 50% of the treadmills have working TV which is a bummer.

There are great programs for all ages, and the facility is clean. The staff is amazing.

It is clean and friendly. I really like the individual locking shower rooms with toilet and benches. Very handicap friendly. Ove the aqua size class workout.

It's a nice facility and nice waterpark, IF all the equipment is working and all the features are available. I don't know how many times the waterslides at the waterpark were shut down because there weren't enough lifeguards available. And when trying to get ahold of management, it's basically useless, because management doesn't contact you back. Also, I was supposed to get a $25 credit for my kids' swim lessons from last year, but it never showed up or somehow got lost, so I was just screwed out of $25. Good facility, but poor management.

Noted chiropractic services being marketed in lobby today. Can anyone sell their goods or services there? If there’s an approval process, what are the criteria? Girl Scout cookie sales in lobby OK?

Clean the pool, clean the sauna. Be accurate with the pool hours. Communicate better, for example, email people of unexpected pool closings or changes.

I love the diversity of the programs that they offer. Something for everyone.

We go almost go daily and all of the employees are so nice to us and our kids.

The GRETNA YMCA is a great gym. I’ve been going regularly for 8 months and it is such a clean, well equipped gym. I am grateful of the 3 months gift of free membership after rendering aid to a member who suffered a cardiac arrest.

The aqua classes are very important to me.

Gretna Crossing is always clean, the workout machines are well-maintained and staff is friendly and helpful. I love the pool. It has a fresh and inviting atmosphere.

Seems to be a lot of “sorry, but broke down” messages for weeks at a time. Just be nice to be able to use the entire facility while we still pay the full price of admission.

Great facility! One thing that could use improvement is putting the small resistance bands out where members can find them. The staff didn't know where they were the day I asked for them. If you no longer have them, please let the staff know.

Jasmin and her aquatics team are amazing, caring, super friendly and do such an wonderful job. My granddaughter just loves going to her swim lessons and she is doing so well.

The Gretna Y is such a friendly welcoming place. No matter what your physical strength or weakness's are, all are welcome and accepted, just as you are. And of course, there are so many opportunities to make a person gain strength and confidence.
