The leaders are always welcoming and great with the kids
It would be great if these courses were taught with a little more enthusiasm. It is a long day for a child when the information is presented in a manner that is not very exciting
Lots of variety of programs for kids. The counsellors and staff at the Goderich YMCA are amazing at their jobs and you can tell they really enjoy it.
The leaders are engaged with the children and show genuine joy when interacting. We specifically appreciate Tyler and Riley at soccer.
Programs are excellent but communication is lacking when show up expecting daycare and gym time only to find out that it's canceled for a "scheduled " meeting
The friendly staff members in Goderich make everything nice at The Goderich location.
Me and my family use to love going to the drop in play and then they became strict on the age limit in the groups and now my youngest has to be split from his older two Siblings and now we are unable to go to any of the groups because of this… I wish that it would of stayed the same because now we barley go there only for swimming lessons.. very disappointing as there isn't anything eles to do in Goderich for young kids..
Aside from swimming lessons, there is no other structured programs, just play time activities. Nothing at all for teenagers outside working out on their own. My older children took home alone course and babysitting course. Both courses consisted a teenager reading to them from a book for five hours. No examples, no interaction, no demonstrations, just sat there listening to someone read. Very disappointed.
