We took our toddler to be measured for his suit in early April at the Arcadia location and two weeks before the June wedding, in late May, his suit was inconveniently not available in his size. We were told we only needed to go back to be remeasured and the rest will taken care of, this is now a week before the wedding.
We went and they gave us a whole size bigger suit but they wanted to charge an extra $150 on top of his suit price for alterations. A cost that was not told to us once over the phone nor in any emails due to their mistake of not having his size available.
They also wanted us to drive to their alterations location, to try the suit on and be measured again! because they don’t do that type of alterations in house.
We left the bigger size suit and went to the West Covina location to try the size smaller suit in hopes to make it work.
We ended up going with the size smaller suit and hemmed the pants just a bit for a better fit. We were told to go back next day for pick up on Tuesday, now 4 days before the wedding.
We went to pick up the suit and the collar on the white button down was dirty, it was not like this the day before. I noticed as I was leaving the store and told the associate that there was an issue and I was told that they don’t have that size button down in their store and it will take 2 days for it to arrive, meaning Thursday, two days before the wedding!
I did not go back for the replacement button down. I was so over the back and forth and having to return to the store again, to fix an issue that friars was responsible for, again.
We will not be returning for any suit needs for the foreseeable future.
Not only does friar tux have an amazing collection and variety of suits and tuxedos but they have an amazing staff that are friendly and helpful in more ways than one. Always feel welcomed when going to Friar Tux

Our wedding on May 9th was unforgettable. I came into the store expecting to find a wedding suit for myself, my groomsmen and my father-in-law and his brothers. What I didn’t expect was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a very long time and everyone else has said the same.
Joson made the entire process feel easy from the moment we walked in. No pressure, no fake sales pitch — just genuine professionalism, patience, and attention to detail. During a stressful time with wedding planning, that really stood out.
What impressed me most was the way he handled both customers and his team. He stayed calm, organized, and focused no matter how busy things got. He treated everyone with respect, paid attention to the small details, and made people feel comfortable immediately. You could tell the staff trusted and respected him too.
At a certain point, I stopped thinking of him as “just a store manager.” He carries himself like someone ready for much bigger leadership roles. The way he communicates, solves problems, and takes ownership of the customer experience is something you usually see from high-level executives, not retail managers.
Every single suit came out great, but honestly, the service is what I’ll remember most. He made an important moment in my life feel important to him too, and that level of care is rare these days.

Montclair location was amazing I would refer people to that location Loralee and Tyrone were nice and helpful. However I our Arcadia location was horrible. The staff that worked didnt measure my husband correctly or ask how he felt with the fit. Our ring bearer had to go in tp get new items his measurements were off. Overall.that staff in arcadia waa ride and made them feel like a burden.

Tiffany was awesome on my initial measurements. She took so much time to get it right for me, I loved the whole experience. When it was time to try everything on, it was great. Jo Son took care of me, made sure everything looked sharp (I trust him because he was dressed to the 9s...) and it was one of the most customer service oriented experiences I've ever had. Honestly, better than Nordstrom. I think y'all are legendary, and I will not ever hesitate to recommend.

I am truly grateful for Joson and staff at Friar Tux Arcadia. I called last Tuesday afternoon to get a suit for my son's orchestra concert on Thursday evening. Joson told us to go in and he would take care of us. He did everything from start to finish and was so gracious. We picked up my son's suit Wednesday evening and it was perfect. He saved the day for us. We appreciate all your hard work and we will be back for other engagements.
