The credit card machine was down, the attendant rebooted it several times then asked me to give her my credit card so she could write it down and bill me later. Fortunately I had enough cash (because writing down a credit card number on paper is illegal). I felt bad leaving a bad tip for the stylist ($3) due to just having enough cash for the haircut. When I got home and looked at my haircut in the mirror and it was awful, probably the worst I’ve had in a decade.
I had a low skin fade, and the blending was poorly done and chunky in areas on the sides and back.

I was so pleased to locate my stylist, Phil, whom I have seen for several years when he was at Cost Cutters. Phil is an expert stylist and has always delivered a perfect haircut. His precision is unmatched, and he has always been helpful advising me as I explored varying styles. I very much like the welcoming and upbeat vibe of the shop itself, including the music and pictures covering the walls. It makes for an exciting visit, and Phil will be my go-to stylist for as long as he's doing hair.

Phil is amazing. The shop is clean and modern. Staff is very friendly and professional.

Turn down the loud music. I like to be able to talk to the barber without yelling, or enjoy the quiet.

The ease of scheduling all services combined with the quality and attentiveness of the staff will have me coming back.

Marina, she is the best. My only complaint is the music is too loud. I cannot converse with my stylist and I cannot hear her speak to me because the music need to be turned down. That is my only complaint about Floyd's is the music is too **** loud. We're not all 18 years old who go to this barbershop.
