My stylist was fantastic. Confident, and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately it was the first time that the hairdresser, even though I showed him the pictures with th wore fetter length to cut, didn’t listen and cut the hair way shorter than I wanted. I had said to show me along the way and he confirmed but never checked on me and once he finished, he just said there
You go and was pretty dismissive. Also J paid for a 6 scalp shampoo

The Ambience, Atmosphere,

I had an appointment with the stylist I regularly see. Two days before, I got a call saying she wouldn't be able to make the appointment and asking if I wanted to reschedule with her or keep the day/time I booked and see another stylist. I was happy they called to let me know and ask my preference, said I'd like to keep the day/time but wanted to know who else was available. They told me (stylist A) was who they could book me with and I agreed because I was familiar with her as well. When I arrived, they told me they were actually going to put me with (stylist B). I wasn't happy with that but was already there and had gone out of my way to make time for the cut, so I said okay. Then as I was waiting, they told me (stylist B) couldn't take me, so now I would see (stylist C). Ultimately (stylist C) did my cut and was very pleasant, but took a very long time and often stopped cutting just to talk. In the end, I was there for about twice the amount of time I'm usually there for my cut, and wasn't happy with having been changed around so much at the last minute.

My stylist was incredibly welcoming and helpful as I worked through choosing a new hairstyle.

My barber David is the quiet simply the best barber in Hollywood. The desk staff is usually welcoming and fantastic but yesterday they had a new team member that was awkward and rude. He needs to work on his customer service skills.

Justin is the barber I consistently go to, and for good reason. He’s welcoming, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. Every time I sit in his chair, he remembers exactly how I like my hair styled, and I always leave feeling great. I’m usually pretty satisfied with my service here. This last time my stylist was t really tuned into what I was wanting. I just chalked it up to her having an off day.

I spent 40 plus tax and 15 tip on a haircut that was nothing that I asked for. The barber was nice but I asked for a bald fade… skin. He even repeated it back to me… and still used a number one or two on my sides and back.. I had enough hair to dye it when I came home. I have grown my hair for 4 months now haircut and was excited thinking I would leave Floyd’s with a tight As **** haircut.. wrong. Looks like ****. And not what I asked for

Chill atmosphere, loved Celeste! She gave me the bixie cut I wanted and communicated perfectly to make sure the cut complements my natural texture. She also gave goods tips on styling which I really appreciate. Thanks girl!!

I try not to change stylists once i like one and my guy now is relatively easy to book.

The primary driver for me with Floyd’s is my particular hairdresser, and the price. If you could do everything possible to keep prices as low as possible, and retain that hairdresser, that would cause me to keep my rating at 8 or raise it!

Kurt T. gave me a great haircut and made the whole experience really comfortable. We had a genuinely good conversation about David Lynch and my hometown around Fresno, California, and he was easy to talk to from the start. He came across as very empathetic and welcoming, which made the appointment feel relaxed instead of rushed or awkward. I really appreciated his attitude and attention to detail, and I loved the final haircut. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had getting my hair cut.

I’ve been going to Floyd’s for years now , various locations in the LA area… I have always had if not a great experience than definitely a satisfactory one. However, my most recent experience was absolutely terrible. To begin with my “stylist” couldn’t be bothered to look at while the receptionist introduced us , as she was too busy wrapping up a text conversation. Actually I don’t think she wrapped up the conversation because she continued to be more preoccupied with her phone than assessing her task at hand. When she did wrangle her focus to cutting my hair she had such a non chalant, blase attitude as she improved her way through cutting my hair. There was no plan , no intention… it felt like she was guessing at what she should do next as she butchered her way around my head. In the middle of the cut she decides that she needs to rinse my hair in the bowl which was followed by something I would call Chinese blow dryer torture- or she was just experimenting to see how long she could leave the burning hot dryer directed on my neck before I said something. In what seemed like a conversation she was having internally trying to decide if she was done cutting or not , she blurted out a “yep, that’s it.” Since I could still see the distinct lines of what was supposed to be a high fade on my sides , as well as the fact that none of those lines matched from left to right side I was unsure if she was actually done . But I was more than happy for her to put her scissors down.

I usually see Jason but he’s out of town so I rolled the dice and got Cherie (sp?) and she turned out to be just lovely and gave me a great cut.

Rachelle is terrific!!! But please don't fill up her appointment book so that I can no longer find an open time slot.

Everything about this place is great. Dominique has changed my hair from platinum to purple to blue to brown. We have had so much fun these past couple years. Transforming my style. I simple love it

First off I don't want to say any names on here but if you'd like to call me that's fine, but the barber that cut my hair messed me up. I didn't notice until someone pointed out the lines and uneveness in my hair. When i got home and looked under better lighting I could see everything. The worse part is I trusted Floyds cutting my hair considering they are in a few different states and have a great reputation. Boy I was wrong. I paid almost $60 for a regular fade haircut. The most I ever spent on a cut,but didn't mind considering the reputation and that I was from out of town. Horrible

I have never walked out of a Floyd's unhappy. Every single barber or stylist I've had cut my hair, has been fantastic. Professional, kind, attentive, and talented as ****. I so appreciate the level of care they put into making sure you're happy with your hair cut, and the vibe and aesthetic of every shop is bada**. It's affordable, I absolutely love all of their available products (especially Floyd's leave-in conditioner "Refresh"), and everyone is so knowledgeable when it comes to scalp/hair health. I just love the diversity in staff, the energy of every shop, and how welcoming they are. I always recommend Floyd's to everyone. Thank you guys for cutting my hair for the last 7 years !!!
