G&L was established in the mid 1980's with Gene Caputo as a founding partner. The company started out by accepting projects of every description through personal referrals and word of mouth. Under Gene's careful watch, G&L earned a reputation not solely for elegant, craftsmanlike work, but for a commitment to ensuring that his customers were always completely satisfied.

As the company's status grew, so did the size of its jobs. In 1993 Chris joined the company and worked extremely hard with Gene to build it into a well respected remodeling company in Northern New Jersey. For more than two decades, Gene and Chris's honesty, work ethic and dedication to quality have resulted in a firm that even today trades on its good name, referrals from satisfied customers, and repeat business.

G&L offers to its potential clients a free consultation to discuss any home improvement or remodeling projects.

G&L and Sons Renovations offers many services. Some of those services are:

Kitchen Remodel;
Bathroom Remodel;
Basement Remodel;
Add-a-Level;
Addition;
Whole House Remodel;
Architectural and Design Services;
Design Services and
New Home Construction.

G&L participated in the mandatory Lead-safe training and fulfiled the requirements to become a Lead-Safe Certified firm. So talk to us about how we make the remodeling process even safer based upon this new federal law that went into effect on April 22, 2010.

G&L and Sons is very excited about winning the Guildmaster Award twice. This tells us that we are listening to our clients and making sure that the project runs smoothly and customer service is excellent.

G&L and Sons is proud to be a member of the North Jersey National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI) chapter. All its members must abide by the NARI code of ethics. G&L and Sons is active in the chapter by being on the Board of Directors and helping out with charitable projects.
