Distinctive Dwellings, located in Southlake, TX, is a full-service home design firm with over 21 years experience. Thayne Hillrichs, owner and senior designer, graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1991. He apprenticed under architects Michael Barnard and Gene Lam at Wharton and Lam Architects from 1989 – 1992 before starting his own firm. He has designed homes throughout Texas and various other states in the U.S.
